uh... yes

The 2009 one is my "I Dream" piece here [link] and here's the new one [link]

It was and always has been my most favourite picture i've ever drawn. So picking it as the original to enter this contest meant a lot to me.

That's why i'm also worried that i didn't do it justice and instead of showcasing my improvement and development, i'll just show how much i did not move anywhere, or maybe even downhill x.x

Sometimes i really wish i could draw the same as i used to few years back ^^ When i could draw happy looking things without worrying much if i should go to bed to get to work in time :">

The deadline is nigh and so is morning(work, school). So unfortunately i couldn't spend as much time on it as i would wish to.

Aww you're too harsh on youself. Sure it's a little unfinished because of the time constraints but it's also a very beautiful drawing! I do like the new direction your style is taking, since it looks way less generic. It's just that the old one was probably done with more patience and less pressure, and that is why you don't like the new one as much. ^^

Honestly, I really like both the old and the new style. Preference causes me to really enjoy this newer style from you though. I mean... dat hair, dem eyes, I just like looking at it. xD

2012 became more mature looking while the 2009 is like a little child. This looks like it shows the process of ageing. Bothe pictures are good, really good. I only wish i could draw like you
